Derivative
Genius.
I build companies at the intersection of AI, operations, and real-world problems. Currently focused on making intelligent voice agents accessible to the trades.
About

I've been building things
since before the internet.
I wrote my first programs on a TI-99/4A and an Apple ][. Forty years later I'm still at it — only now the tools are smarter and the problems are bigger.
My father was a builder and a barber — skilled at both, but the business always slipped through his fingers. Not for lack of craft. For lack of the right tools. That stayed with me.
Today I run Derivative Genius — a holding company and consulting practice focused on AI-powered products that solve real problems for real people. I build for the people who build things.
Husband to Kerry. Father to Sarah, Olivia, and Jared. Software Engineer. Urban Farmer. Founder of VoiceGeni.us — Voice AI for the trades.
